Job summary

Job Title: Release Train Engineer Location: Mississauga, ON (3x onsite a week) Employment Type: Contract Pay Rate: CAD$55/HR INC Key Responsibilities Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) events, including Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and Scrum of Scrums. Coordinate cross functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and program goals. Manage and track program risks, dependencies, impediments, and escalations. Monitor ART performance using metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with Product Management, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Architects, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. Support Agile transformation initiatives and promote Agile and Lean Agile best practices. Facilitate effective communication between teams and stakeholders. Assist teams in planning, forecasting, and delivery management activities. Ensure visibility of program progress, milestones, and release readiness. Drive problem solving and decision making across teams to remove blockers and improve flow. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in software delivery, project/program management, Agile coaching, or Scrum Master roles. 3+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer or in a scaled Agile environment. Strong understanding of SAFe, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles. Experience facilitating PI Planning and large scale Agile ceremonies. Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD practices, and release management processes. Proficiency with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, or similar platforms. Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
