Join us and help run what runs the world. As a Financial Analyst, you perform financial transactions and validation of financial accuracy through reviews and analyses of financial metrics. You also prepare capital project requests and internal process reviews to ensure controls are in line with Group requirements. This role is contributing to the Electrification, Installation Products (ELIP) division of ABB and is located in Pointe-Claire. The work model is 100% onsite. Responsibilities: Performing financial reporting activities to close periods, (ie. journal entries, reconciliations). Preparation of financial reporting statements, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Validation of financial data accuracy by performing reconciliations and supporting documents. Inventory tracking and review of excess and obsolescence. Preparation of capital project requests, asset management, and project spending reviews. Ensure processes and internal controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with Group requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business, with future aspirations of a CPA designation. 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, working as a Financial Analyst with manufacturing experience. You are at ease communicating in French and English. English is necessary to communicate with clients outside Quebec. Excellent organizational skills and enjoy working in team environments. Ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility when assuming various responsibilities. Strong analytical skills, with outstanding attention to details and accuracy. Possess an enhanced knowledge of computerized accounting systems, especially MS Office software, primarily advanced Excel knowledge, and SAP/Torque or equivalent ERP’s.
