ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Sales/Service: Maintain a professional image and provide exceptional customer service. Process orders for both existing and new customers. Engage in suggestive sales to increase sales volume and remind customers of potential material needs. Obtain all necessary information to efficiently schedule and deliver orders, which may require follow-up with customers. Attempt to up-sell by suggesting better or best product options. Process credit returns and resolve customer complaints and billing issues. Utilize Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and report on sales activities Forklift/Yard/Warehouse: Delivery preparation and staging. Organize and maintain the warehouse/yard for ease of picking orders. Warehouse and yard cleanliness. Loading and unloading trucks and ensuring associated paperwork is correct. Verifying and signing off on all outgoing and incoming documentation. Operate a forklift as needed to assist customers Miscellaneous: Maintain showroom appearance and provide a clean customer service counter. May assist in reordering products to keep store and warehouse shelves well-stocked. Address and resolve service concerns when they arise. Assist with store and warehouse inventory counts as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in an inside sales role. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable. Ability to understand technical products and convey their benefits effectively to customers. Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales targets and contribute to team success. Previous experience in technical sales is advantageous but not required. Can do heavy lifting Roofing/Siding background is an asset MUST have steel-toed work shoes or boots A forklift license is preferred (willing to train) undefined Benefits may include: Employees enjoy a comprehensive compensation package.
