We are looking for a Research Scientist with hands-on experience with antibody therapeutics to join our multidisciplinary Pharmacokinetics (PK) team. Based in Vancouver, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between discovery and the clinic, specifically executing bioanalytical and pharmacokinetic activities with a focus on T-cell engager (TCE) programs. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including In Vivo Pharmacology, Non-Clinical Safety, Modeling and Simulations, Protein Science, and Discovery Biology, to support the progression of our projects from discovery to development. How you might spend your days Generating bioanalytical and PK data from biological samples to critically assess therapeutic antibody programs Collaborating with cross-functional project teams as a representative of the PK function Defining the PK strategy to progress projects to the clinic, with a focus on T-cell engagers Performing ELISA, MSD, and other bioanalytical assays on study samples with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy Driving the development and implementation of innovative bioanalytical methods to support our PK research and development pipeline Collaborating with teammates to solve problems, analyze, interpret, and communicate data We’d love to hear from you if You have a strong understanding of antibody pharmacokinetics You have hands-on experience with ligand binding assays (LBA) such as ELISA, MSD, or other plate based assays You have a PhD in a related field; or an MSc plus 3-5 years of experience in an academic or industry environment; or a BSc plus 5+ years of related experience You excel in documentation and organizational skills and clearly communicate scientific and technical concepts - both verbally and in writing You have experience with non-compartmental PK data analysis (WinNonlin), considered a strong asset What we offer AbCellera’s hiring range for this role is CAD $80,000 - $98,000 annually, commensurate with your education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer equity, annual bonus dependent on team and company performance, and a 6% (non-match) RRSP contribution.
