As a trusted advisor, you’ll work internally to support the delivery of tax services, the development and coordination of key training programs and materials and the communication of tax matters. Responsibilities Develop and maintain firm standards, processes and tools to support the delivery of tax services to our clients Manage and maintain tax templates in accordance with the latest tax updates Develop internal training materials and practice aids to support the implementation of firm standards Facilitate and assist with firm-wide learning and development events as required Research and keep up to date with the latest changes in local tax legislation; draft internal and external tax publications Issue tax technical research and information/support to professionals throughout the firm Prepare and participate in internal tax compliance and planning projects Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews Skills And Experience CPA designation Completion of level 1 and 2 of the In-Depth Tax Program Written and verbal French and English language skills, due to frequent collaboration with English-speaking teams/clients across Canada and some client deliverables/regulatory reporting obligation are in English 4 to 5 years of relevant tax practice experience in a public accounting firm Experience preparing and reviewing domestic tax compliance and implementing tax reorganizations Experience with private companies and owner-manager taxation is considered an asset Solid understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development principles Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills MyRewards@MNP With a focus on high-potential earnings, MNP is proud to offer customized rewards that support our unique culture and a balanced lifestyle to thrive at work and outside of the office. Requirements

Requires a CPA designation, completion of In-Depth Tax Program levels 1 and 2, and 4 to 5 years of relevant tax practice experience in a public accounting firm. Proficiency in both English and French is required for collaboration across Canada.
