Forbes has recognized us as one of the Best in Canada across all three major categories: Best Executive Recruitment Firms Best Temporary Staffing Firms Best Professional Recruiting Firms Key Responsibilities : Support and coordinate divisional financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes Monitor and analyze monthly operating results vs budgets and forecasts, and explain variances Assist in the preparation of financial reports, financial outlooks, and management reporting packages Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess financial health, and provide insights via KPIs Prepare comprehensive financial updates and reports for senior management Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal reporting requirements Support the implementation of financial goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures Assist with organizational structure and staffing needs within the finance department Support internal and external financial and operational audits and recommend process improvements What our client is looking for: Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP Experience with automated financial and accounting reporting systems Knowledge of federal and provincial financial regulations Ability to analyze financial data, explain variances, and prepare financial statements and projections Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Requirements: CPA Designation or CPA Candidate, Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
