Role: Databricks DBT – Lead Engineer Location: Toronto ON - 5 Days/Onsite Fulltime FTE – Permanent Salary: CAD 140-165K Base + Benefits Must have skills: Must have 15+ years of overall IT Experience Strong experience with Databricks, DBT, Apache Spark, and performance tuning. Expertise in Apache Airflow/Astronomer for workflow orchestration and DAG design. Deep understanding of Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, and large-scale data platforms. Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation. Strong platform management, monitoring, and incident management experience. Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills. Domain Experience:: Asset Management Investment Management Capital Markets Portfolio & Market Data Platforms

Requires 15 or more years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in Databricks, DBT, Apache Spark, and performance tuning. Candidates should also have experience with Airflow or Astronomer, data engineering and ETL/ELT, CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure as code, platform operations, and leadership; asset management, investment management, capital markets, or portfolio and market data experience is relevant.
