Job Title: Terraform Developer Location: Halifax, NS Work Model: Onsite Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Terraform Developer to design, automate, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Python, along with exposure to modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and networking issues, and supporting reliable application deployments and cloud-based data workflows. Key Responsibilities •Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, configure, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure. •Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Terraform configurations and modules to automate infrastructure provisioning and management. •Cloud Networking & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve cloud networking, connectivity, and infrastructure issues to ensure reliability and performance. •Containerization & Orchestration: Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and related container technologies to support application deployment and orchestration. •CI/CD Automation: Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and release processes. •Data Platform Integration: Support cloud data environments involving Databricks and Snowflake, including data integration, query federation, and foundational data engineering workflows. •Python Development: Develop Python scripts and automation utilities to streamline infrastructure management, operational tasks, and troubleshooting. •Operational Excellence: Apply best practices for infrastructure scalability, maintainability, reliability, security, and deployment efficiency. Required Skills & Qualifications •Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure management. •Proven experience developing and troubleshooting Terraform configurations, modules, and Infrastructure as Code solutions. •Solid understanding of cloud networking, connectivity, and infrastructure troubleshooting. •Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies. •Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. •Working knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, query federation, and data engineering fundamentals. •Strong programming and scripting skills in Python. •Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate with infrastructure, application, and data engineering teams.
