Regional Sales Manager – Eastern Canada (Montreal, Quebec, Maritimes, Ottawa) Location – Montreal Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales operations, drive revenue growth, and strengthen brand presence within the Eastern region. This role requires a deep understanding of the fragrance industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies. The Regional Sales Manager will report to the National Sales Manager, working closely with internal teams, retail partners, and field sales teams to ensure business objectives are met. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and achieve regional sales targets. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Executives, ensuring high performance and professional development. Retail Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners. Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize results. Market & Competitor Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities. Training & Development: Provide coaching and support to field sales teams and retail partners. Event & Promotion Execution: Oversee in-store activations, promotions, and events to enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement. Merchandising Compliance: Ensure that brand guidelines are consistently followed across all retail locations. Forecasting & Budgeting: Manage sales forecasts, inventory needs, and budgets to maximize profitability and operational efficiency. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and corporate teams to align strategies and initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 5+ years of sales experience in the fragrance, beauty, or luxury retail industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Leadership: Strong ability to lead and inspire sales teams to achieve and exceed targets. Sales Acumen: Proven track record of driving sales growth and building strong retail partnerships. Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute business plans that align with brand objectives. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation and presentation abilities. As this position is based in Montreal, fluency in both written and spoken French is required. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform decision-making. Customer-Centric Approach: Strong understanding of consumer behavior and retail dynamics in the fragrance industry. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving market with changing consumer demands. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales reporting tools. Travel: Willingness to travel within the region as required.
