Action First Aid is seeking a dynamic and engaging First Aid Instructor to join our team full-time or part-time. This role involves delivering high-quality first aid, CPR, and AED training to individuals and organizations. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic facilitator, skilled communicator, and committed to ensuring every student leaves confident and prepared to take action in an emergency. This is a flexible opportunity that can accommodate instructors seeking part time hours as well as those looking for full time hours. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging, hands-on first aid, CPR and AED training courses to diverse groups of learners. Ensure compliance with training standards, certifications and regulatory requirements. Create an inclusive, professional and positive learning environment where participants feel supported. Prepare classrooms, equipment and materials prior to each course to ensure readiness and high quality delivery. Provide accurate evaluation, feedback and certification of students according to program standards. Travel to deliver onsite training at client locations. Participate in quarterly instructor meetings, ongoing professional development and training. Support continuous improvement by sharing feedback and ideas with the training leadership team. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience teaching or delivering training programs preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills; able to connect with diverse learners. Ability to manage a classroom and maintain high levels of student engagement. Organized, dependable, and able to handle scheduling demands, including possible weekend commitments. Reside within, or be able and willing to travel within, designated region(s) for offsite courses as required by business needs. Requirements
Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering training programs with strong communication and presentation skills. Must be able to travel to designated regions in Ontario for offsite course delivery.
