Prior experience is required, and candidates must possess Alberta Child Care certification levels 2, or 3, along with current criminal record check (with vulnerable sector search) and first aid certification. Key Responsibilities Creating and implementing engaging programming tailored to the interests and needs of the children. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the environment. Leading and supporting children in integrated learning and recreational activities. Actively supervising and engaging with children while ensuring their well-being. Providing regular communication to parents through monthly newsletters and daily updates. Cultivating positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Participating in professional development initiatives. Adhering to Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Regulations and Active Start's policies and procedures to ensure quality care. Qualifications Prior childcare/daycare experience is required Level 2 or 3 Child Care Certification (or equivalent) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professional, adaptable, and fluent in English Proficiency in computer applications and administrative systems Knowledge of Alberta Child Care Licensing Regulations (preferred) Why Join Active Start?
