Data Product Owner

Acunor is hiring -- Data Product Owner Location: Remote – USA / Canada Employment Type: FullTime Experience: 10+ Years We are looking for an experienced Data Product Owner to lead enterprise data products, cloud data platform initiatives, and legacy data modernization programs. This role is ideal for a Product Owner / Product Manager who understands both business needs and modern data technology and can work closely with Data Engineering, Architecture, Analytics, and executive stakeholders. • Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise data products • Lead migration of legacy data assets into centralized cloud data platforms • Manage product backlogs, priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines • Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done • Partner with Data Engineers, Architects, Analysts, and Business stakeholders • Balance business-driven features with platform scalability, performance, and reliability • Drive data quality, governance, standardization, and reusability • Lead Agile delivery using Scrum / Kanban methodologies • Facilitate workshops and communicate product priorities to technical and executive stakeholders ✅ Must-Have Qualifications ✔ 8+ years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Delivery Lead, or Technical Lead ✔ 5+ years delivering enterprise data products or cloud data platforms ✔ Strong understanding of Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Cloud Data Platforms, and Data Engineering ✔ Proven experience taking data products from concept through production delivery ✔ Strong experience with Jira and Confluence ✔ Hands-on Agile experience with Scrum and Kanban ✔ Strong stakeholder management, prioritization, and communication skills

Lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of enterprise data products and cloud data platform initiatives. Manage product backlogs and collaborate with technical teams to migrate legacy data assets into centralized cloud platforms.

Requires over 8 years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Lead, with at least 5 years focused on enterprise data products. Must have strong proficiency in Agile methodologies, Jira, and modern cloud data architecture.
