Position Summary Echo NDE is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockwood Service Corporation and provides full service non-destructive testing, inspection, and integrity services throughout North America. Echo NDE is currently seeking a CGSB Certified UT1 Technician to join and contribute to our team. This is a full-time permanent position that will support our operations based out of Grande Prairie, AB. Responsibilities Set up, calibrate, and verify ultrasonic testing (UT) equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of inspection results. Execute NDE/NDT inspections using approved UT methods and techniques, with a strong focus on precision and attention to detail. Interpret and evaluate ultrasonic test data to identify discontinuities and assess acceptance criteria. Accurately document, organize, and report inspection results in a clear and timely manner. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company quality programs, safety policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist with additional NDT methods (MT, PT, etc.) and general inspection tasks as required. Maintain equipment, ensure proper care of tools, and uphold a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and clients to support project execution and timelines. Requirements CGSB Ultrasonic Testing UT1 Certfication. Additional CGSB certifications will be considered an asset. Possess good analytical skills, detail oriented. Exceptional safety and quality awareness. Be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English). Be able to pass a vision and color detection test. Willing to learn and assist in various inspection techniques. Possess a valid driver’s license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record. Able to work well within a team environment. Able to lift 50 pounds. Why work with Echo NDE?
