Adecco is currently hiring several full-time and part-time hardworking and reliable Labourers to join our client’s industrial cold storage facility in meat (pork) products. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role ideal for people with experience with physically intensive work like construction, lumper, labour, and individuals who enjoy active work and can thrive in a slightly cold warehouse environment. Year-round, ongoing work is available. Students are welcome to apply! Must have own reliable transportation. • Location: Winnipeg, MB • Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00am – 3:30pm OR • Monday to Wednesday | 7:00am – 3:30pm • Job type: Temporary | Full-time Here's why you should apply: • Paid weekly accurate and on time • Strong health and safety programs • Medical and dental benefits once qualified • Free training programs • New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities: • Load and unload products manually from trailers and containers • Palletize items by hand according to warehouse guidelines • Apply stickers/labels to products and pallets • Wrap pallets using manual or powered pallet-wrapping techniques • Perform general labour duties as required to support warehouse operations • Stand for the entire shift and work efficiently in a colder environment • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Qualifications: • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift • Previous experience with physical intensive work like construction, lumper, labour, etc is preferred • Comfortable working in a cold environment • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic • Able to perform repetitive physical tasks and stand for long periods • Previous general labour or warehouse experience is an asset (not required) • Steel-toed shoes and high-visibility vest (hi-viz) required • Own transportation preferred (public transit in the area is limited) • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada Are you interested in this position?
