Job summary

Adecco is currently looking for a Retail Analyst to join a Top Tier global consumer goods (CPG/FMCG) company in North York, ON. As a key member, you will assist the the Retail Insights team with reporting, analysis, and insights tied to Retail Field Execution across the Canadian retail landscape. The role will help track and interpret key field execution KPIs, including distribution, on-shelf availability, out-of-stock performance, retail coverage, call compliance, merchandising execution, display execution, speed to shelf, and sales trends. Main Responsibilities: Publish weekly and bi-weekly reports for the organization while maintaining scorecards and Monthly Letters. Maintain POS dollar information in Springboard and update data across multiple internal databases. Manage KPI assignments in the Route Planning tool and ensure the CRM system remains accurate and up to date. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities that improve sales performance across retail environments. Act as an Excel power user, leveraging advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and VBA/macros to streamline analysis and reporting. Deliver timely, relevant, and action-oriented weekly reports and field insights for retail and account teams. Troubleshoot CRM-related system issues and create clear documentation to help teams resolve common retail execution challenges. Lead ad hoc deep dives into execution, sales trends, and retail operations to support business planning, new item launches, and retail events. Qualification: 2-4 years’ experience in data analytics, CPG/FMCG, or a related category-focused role – Nielsen Experience is Preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: You know your way around VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, nested IFs, and you’re not afraid of macros or VBA Proficiency in Power BI—developing dynamic, user-friendly dashboards that tell a story Familiarity with Power Automate and how to connect systems for real-time insights and task automation A strong foundation in analytical frameworks and business acumen—you understand what to measure and why it matters Great communicator: You can distill complex data into clear takeaways for business and field audiences Strong problem-solving mindset—you see gaps, build solutions, and make things more efficient than they were yesterday Are you interested in this position?
