Job summary
40-hour compressed workweek Day Shift (Monday to Friday): * Regular 5-day workweek (Monday to Friday), or a compressed 4-day schedule of 10-hour shifts (Monday to Thursday). * Multiple schedule options are available, offering flexibility in start times (between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.) and corresponding end times. Evening Shift (Monday to Thursday): * Monday to Thursday, from 3:15 p.m. to 1:45 a.m. Hourly wage ranging from $29.56/hour to $41.62/hour and Evening shift premium: $1.75/hour Contributing in this role means : * Bringing knowledge of the assembly of steel structures; buildings or support structures * Using technical plans or drawings assemble and adjust metal sections using spot welding * Using various high-performance machines to shape metal, such as torches, grinders, drills, etc * Note and report defects in materials, tools and equipment to supervisor and protect from damage * Following quality procedures work instructions or company manufacturing standards * Operating overhead cranes * Observing and applying safety rules * Any other related task What we are looking for * Experience as a steel structure fitter (asset) * Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Welding and Fitting AND/OR * Minimum of 2000 hours of working experience in the field (work or school AND/OR * Written and spoken languages: French and English (asset) * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications * Knowledge in Imperial and Metric measures * Good knowledge of written and spoken French * Knowledge of spoken English (asset) * Good knowledge in using welding machines, grinders, burning torches, cutting torches, cranes * Autonomy, manual dexterity, adaptability, initiative, organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team Our offer for you: * Contribute to iconic construction projects worldwide, shaping the horizons of our world * Group insurance, including dental and vision * Flexible days of paid time off after one year of continuous service * Employer-sponsored pension plan * Employee assistance program (access to telemedicine) * Free private parking for employees, with charging stations (free of charge) for electric vehicles * On-site gym for employees * Catering service for employees (meals served at competitive prices)
