Welding * Complete ADF Group’s initial training program * Develop your skills using various welding processes, including FCAW 1/16" and 5/64" (200 to 500 amps) * Learn to interpret welding procedures and symbols * Perform fillet and groove welds on production components Fitting * Learn how to read fabrication drawings and follow work procedures * Become familiar with the tools and equipment used in our facility * Sort and properly position components for assembly * Prepare components, including cleaning and beveling * Lay out and assemble subassemblies * Assist fitters with the fabrication of steel components * Adjust welding parameters and perform tack welding using FCAW or SMAW * Operate 10- to 50-ton overhead cranes to move and turn components * Perform other related tasks, including preheating, heat straightening, oxy-fuel cutting, and more What are we looking for? * You are eligible to complete an end-of-program internship in Welding and Fitting * You are thorough, quality-focused, and enjoy working as part of a team * You are committed to following health and safety standards Why choose ADF Group for your internship? * Paid internship * Opportunity for employment after graduation * Work on iconic, large-scale construction projects * Build your skills quickly in a modern production environment * Free on-site parking with electric vehicle charging stations * Free access to an on-site fitness facility * Affordable on-site catering service Schedule 40 hours per week – Day shift Monday to Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Friday: 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Ready to turn your training into real-world experience?
