About us AdmissionPrep is a high-performance coaching company helping students take control of their post-secondary journey. We combine admissions expertise, goal-setting, and skill development to give students a competitive edge. Compensation and flexibility A remote, flexible role. It is a fit for a student completing a master's or PhD, someone looking for additional income beyond a full-time job, or someone who wants flexibility in their work life. Performance-based bonuses tied to student results. Effective hourly rate between $20 and $25 per hour, depending on experience. Hours are 2pm to 7pm PST on weekdays, plus at least one weekend day. We ask for a minimum one-year commitment to your students. In return, we are flexible with your schedule as long as you are consistent and committed. Must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Canada. The role You will work directly with students over Zoom or phone to: Guide them through deadlines, application decisions, and program options Break down complex requirements and simplify decision-making Help them set goals, plan backwards, and stay accountable Build their confidence and develop long-term success skills You will also Use our tech platform and internal tools to track progress Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a top-tier student experience Continuously level up your knowledge of programs and admissions strategies We are looking for someone who Has a Bachelor's degree from a Canadian university and/or is pursuing a Master's or PhD Loves working directly with students and helping them achieve big results Understands the value of higher education and personal growth Has direct experience with the admissions process Has a proven record of achievement in academics, work, or leadership Thrives in a structured, fast-moving schedule with high expectations

What you’ll do

You will work directly with students to guide them through deadlines and application decisions while helping them set goals and stay accountable. Additionally, you will use internal tools to track progress and coordinate with teams to ensure a top-tier student experience.

Requirements

Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in Canada and preferably be pursuing a Master's or PhD. They should have direct experience with the admissions process and a proven record of achievement in academics or leadership.
