As a Receiver/Material Handler, part of the Shipping/Receiving Team, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming shipments. You will ensure that material is received accurately and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for keeping the yard organized and running smoothly. The Receiver/Material Handler will also build crates, boxes and/or containers, apply wrapping, labels and identification as required while adhering to safety procedures in getting the product shipped or delivered to the customer. Essential Functions for this Role are: * Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries. * Receiving and verifying all incoming materials physically and within the ERP system. * Liaising with Purchasing and Quality Departments on non-conforming, incoming goods. * Liaise with Quality Department on incoming goods requiring inspection. * Putting materials away and delivering them to the appropriate parties. * Completing raw material requests (pick, issue, deliver). * Measuring product to determine the crate size (width, height, and length) and do the add-ons where needed depending on the product mix, * Labelling the crate with the correct window or door number, * Filling out and handing in the crate sheet to production administration and labelling the crate with all the correct shipping labels and shipping information * Ordering supplies in a timely manner, * Maintaining an organized work environment, especially the raw material storage in the yard. * Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records Other: The employer reserves the right to change or assign other duties to this position. Experience, Qualifications, and Skills required: * Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook. * Superior organization skills to keep stock locations organized * Excellent communication skills * Able to lift up to 50Lbs * Ability to be a team player and step in to support your team and department when needed * High school education or GED equivalent * Experience in a warehouse an asset * Forklift Operator Certification an asset Thank you for your interest in AdvanTec Marine.
