With over 25 years of experience, we build equipment that helps manufacturers improve workplace air quality and protect their people. We’re hiring a Mechanical Engineer to help develop new products, improve existing equipment, and adapt our systems to customer applications. The Role This is a hands-on role connecting mechanical design with the manufacturing floor. You’ll work on components and assemblies, support prototype builds and testing, and help resolve production and field issues. Your designs will directly affect how our equipment performs, how efficiently it can be built, and how easily it can be installed and serviced. Experience with industrial air movement, ventilation, or filtration equipment is a strong asset. What You’ll Do Design and improve mechanical components, assemblies, and industrial filtration equipment. Create and maintain 3D models, production drawings, bills of materials, and controlled engineering revisions. Develop equipment and system layouts that account for installation constraints, airflow, mechanical integration, and service access. Improve designs for fabrication and assembly, balancing performance, cost, reliability, and ease of maintenance. Work with production and service teams to troubleshoot issues and implement practical design improvements. Support prototype builds, performance testing, and validation. Document findings and incorporate them into product revisions. Coordinate with electrical, controls, and operations teams to bring designs into production. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification. At least 3 years of relevant mechanical design experience with industrial equipment, manufactured products, or engineered systems. Proficiency in 3D CAD and production drawing preparation. SolidWorks experience is preferred. Working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, welding, machining, fasteners, and finishes. The ability to translate design requirements into practical, manufacturable solutions. Clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Additional Assets Experience with industrial ventilation, air handling, mist collection, dust collection, or filtration equipment. Practical knowledge of airflow calculations, static pressure, fan curves, and duct design. Familiarity with CSA/UL requirements relevant to industrial equipment and mechanical safety design.
