The Role We are currently seeking a highly organized and decisive Night Dispatcher to oversee our overnight operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of our night shift, actively handling call centre duties while ensuring our fleet runs smoothly and our early morning drivers are perfectly positioned for success. Schedule Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Rotation: 1 week of 4 shifts, followed by 1 week of 3 shifts. Please Note: Initial training for this position will take place during regular daytime business hours before transitioning to the night shift. Key Responsibilities Call Centre Operations: Act as a frontline call centre representative, handling inbound inquiries, providing accurate pricing and trip estimations, and delivering excellent customer service over the phone. Fleet & Booking Management: Assign upcoming bookings, manage vehicle type assignments, and maintain comprehensive oversight of the active fleet using our dispatch software. Morning Logistics: Strategically distribute morning assignments for drivers to ensure seamless early operations. Supervision: Supervise the overnight flow of operations and provide leadership and support to the night team. Qualifications & Skills Software Experience: Knowledge of or prior experience using the iCabbi dispatch system is highly preferred. Technical Proficiency: Strong overall computer skills, with the ability to efficiently navigate and manage software platforms in a fast-paced environment. Communication: Excellent phone skills with a professional, clear, and helpful communication style for both customer and driver interactions. Availability: Must be able to commit to the rotating 6 PM to 6 AM overnight schedule. Compensation & Benefits $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Comprehensive, co-paid health and prescription benefit plan available after 3 months of employment.
