Job Description On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst II to deliver core Business Analysis, Project Management, and Change Management services while facilitating meetings, coordinating technical activities, and developing key project deliverables. They will support successful project execution and organizational change initiatives in support of business and operational goals. They will work closely with I&T support teams, co-workers, clients, and diverse stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration, solution delivery, and adoption of new processes and tools. Responsibilities This role requires an individual who is a quick learner, a self-starter, great at relationship building, being able to influence and gain agreement on a project approach. Someone who has strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be strong at using the entire MS Office Suite and Visio. Examples of deliverables required are process maps, project plans, business change management plan, developing presentations for steering committees, risk and issue log, decision log, statement of work etc... The BA will be required to facilitate meetings in person and/or virtually and will need to identify tasks, negotiate and accept responsibilities and coordinate and provide direction to I&T support teams, co-workers and clients on a variety of technical activities. Qualifications Experience in Business Analysis: Must have a proven track record of working as an Intermediate Business Analyst with 3-5 years industry experience Documentation: Must be strong at using the entire MS Office Suite and Visio. Must be capable of developing strong, comprehensive and clear project documentation Stakeholder Management: Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be proficient in English written/verbal. Proven ability to effectively communicate with and manage diverse stakeholders Facilitating Meetings and Workshops: Skilled in facilitating cross-functional meetings and workshops to gather requirements, discuss risks, and promote collaboration Organization: Must have strong organization skills and must be proactive Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize tasks, and deliver results within tight deadlines, while maintaining high standards of quality Change Management: Experience in driving organizational change that might require introducing governance frameworks and ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and tools Continuous Improvement Mindset: Ability to identify areas for improvement in processes and contribute to the evolution of best practices through ongoing research and feedback. Demonstrated ability to independently organize and prioritize a high-volume workload to meet deadlines in an environment of change. Demonstrated ability to anticipate, organize and prioritize work to meet both short- and long-term goals and outcomes. Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality work. Ability to identify tasks, negotiate and accept responsibilities and coordinate and provide direction to I&T support teams, co-workers and clients on a variety of technical activities. Demonstrated ability to listen, clarify and comprehend information. Demonstrated ability to appropriately prepare and present complex information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing to a variety of audiences. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with individuals, teams, and diverse groups at various levels of the organization in an objective and respectful manner, consistently displaying professionalism, discretion, and patience. Demonstrated ability to maintain personal and team effectiveness by adapting and adjusting to changes and difficult situations. Demonstrated ability to analyze and document business problems and design an approach to solve them using established business process improvement methodologies. Demonstrated ability to present and facilitate. Working knowledge of project management principles and techniques. Demonstrated ability to critically think through problems to formulate practical solutions. Demonstrated ability to be customer focused and service oriented General knowledge of how to gather and translate business and non-functional requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria. Demonstrated ability to use MS Office products.
