Job Description On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking an IT QA Tester. The successful candidate will ensure the quality and reliability of internal applications across traditional software platforms and Dynamics 365 CRM through comprehensive testing, defect management, and collaboration with development teams. They will help deliver high-quality, defect-free solutions that support internal business operations and legacy systems, advancing Technical Safety BC’s technology initiatives. They will work closely with developers, product owners, QA team members, software engineers, and technical product development leads to ensure comprehensive test coverage and successful delivery outcomes. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases for both traditional and Dynamics 365 CRM applications, based on functional and non-functional requirements. Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing, across new features and legacy systems. Identify, document, and track software defects thoroughly using designated bug tracking systems. Collaborate with development teams to ensure defects are understood, prioritized, and resolved, and verify defect fixes through retesting. Create and manage appropriate test data sets required for effective test execution. Assist in setting up and maintaining testing environments to ensure accurate and reproducible test results. Maintain accurate records of test results, test logs, and defect reports, and provide clear status updates on testing progress. Work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to understand product features and ensure comprehensive test coverage for internal applications. Adhere to established QA processes, standards, and methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, involving quality assurance testing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level) are desirable. Understanding of SDLC and Agile Methodologies. Knowledge of Software Testing Fundamentals and Practices. Familiarity with Bug Tracking and Test Case Management Systems. Basic knowledge of Database concepts (SQL queries for data validation). Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CRM concepts and testing approaches (e.g., testing configurations, workflows). Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving skills to identify and report defects. Clear Communication and Collaboration skills for effective team interaction. Proficiency in Test Design and Execution (manual and basic automation scripting). Requirements

Candidates should understand SDLC, Agile, testing practices, bug and test case management, basic SQL, and Dynamics 365 CRM; ISTQB certification is desirable.
