Workday Functional Lead

Job Description We are looking to connect with experienced Workday Functional Leads available for contract work across one or more of the following module areas: Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Talent, or Recruiting. This is a hands-on delivery role sitting at the intersection of business requirements and Workday configuration. If you've led a functional module stream on a Workday implementation and are available for contract work, we'd like to connect. What You'll Be Doing Lead functional design and configuration for one or more Workday modules through all phases of implementation Facilitate requirements and design sessions with business SMEs and HR stakeholders Own configuration workbooks, functional design documents, and decision logs for your module area Coordinate with the Core HCM Lead and other functional leads to ensure cross-module alignment Develop test scenarios and lead testing activities for your module including SIT, parallel runs, and UAT Manage and resolve functional issues, escalating to program leadership where appropriate Provide guidance and direction to junior functional analysts and business SMEs Support training planning, knowledge transfer, and post go-live stabilization activities What We're Looking For 4+ years of Workday functional experience with hands-on configuration in at least one of: Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Talent, or Recruiting At least one full-cycle Workday implementation as a functional lead or senior functional analyst Strong ability to translate business requirements into Workday configuration and document decisions clearly Experience working alongside SI partners and managing competing stakeholder priorities Workday module certification in your area of specialization is an asset Experience with complex, multi-population organizations (unionized, multi-jurisdiction, or large-scale) is preferred Affinity Earn Know someone who’s great for this, or any of our open roles?
