Project Manager – Agarwood Construction Location: Mississauga, ON (Office-based) Type: Full-Time Reporting To: President/Owner Agarwood Construction is a growing GTA-based construction management company specializing in multiplex infill projects, including fourplexes, six-plexes, laneway suites, and garden suites. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our expanding pipeline of multiplex projects across the GTA. The Project Manager will oversee several construction projects from pre-construction through occupancy and warranty. This role is responsible for the overall project delivery in coordination with the Superintendent. Responsibilities: · Prepare accurate takeoffs, budgets, and tender packages · Manage the entire tender process from start to finish · Manage project schedules, trade relationships, and client relationships · Manage financial reporting and update budgets and forecasting · Oversee projects from pre-construction through occupancy and warranty · Ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code, zoning, Tarion warranty, and safety standards · Coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure construction runs efficiently · Proactively resolve potential conflicts to avoid schedule delays · Provide value engineering, design, and constructability input during the pre-construction stages · Represent the organization in a professional manner · Maintain a safety-first mindset and promote safe job sites for all stakeholders · Manage and maintain relationships with all stakeholders Experience: · 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Contracts Manager, or Superintendent in residential infill construction or production home building · Strong understanding of multi-unit residential construction (triplex, fourplex, six-plex, stacked townhomes, mid-rise) · Experience creating and monitoring budgets · Ability to read architectural, structural, mechanical, and civil plans · Solid knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, permitting process, and zoning by-laws · Valid Ontario G driver’s licence and ability to travel between GTA sites on occasion · Above-average Microsoft Excel skills · Experience with construction estimating software; PlanSwift experience is considered an asset Competencies & Traits · Highly organized and detail-oriented · Strong communication and leadership skills · Ability to work independently and drive project progress · Problem-solver with a calm, professional attitude · Strong negotiation skills · Budget-conscious mindset · Understanding of Tarion warranty requirements · Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or relevant experience in a PM role · Ability to manage several projects simultaneously What We Offer · Competitive salary + performance incentives · Opportunity to grow and take on more responsibility · Inclusive team environment · Professional development encouraged
