Fire Assay Technician - Thunder Bay Duties and Responsibilities: Receiving WOs and perform sample preparation Perform analysis of samples. Maintain minor instrumentation in optimized and calibrated condition Troubleshoots instrumental problems and basic maintenance of instrumentation. Perform sample, reagent & calibration standard preparation. Verify and validate data Keep accurate and up to date records Train junior analysts Follow all SOPs and QC procedures. Meet quality assurance and turnaround time specifications. Good organizational and time management skills Some lifting and carrying (up to 25kgs) Basic computer skills Willing to work overtime during peak season. Requirements

Candidates must be able to work in hot conditions, wear a respirator, and lift up to 25kgs. While entry-level candidates are welcome and training is provided, strong attention to detail and basic computer skills are required.
