Human Resources Generalist AGAT Laboratories is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our Calgary, AB team. As the HR Generalist, you will be our first point of contact for managers and employees, and will be supporting HR requests and providing the team with guidance on HR matters. Responsibilities Responsible for HR functions in where AGAT has operations; ensure compliance with provincial, territorial and federal employment laws, regulations and legislation. Provide HR support in areas including recruitment, training, policy, and analytics. Build and develop relationships with management team, providing consultative guidance and advice on policies and procedures, support with performance management and investigation of issues while resolving employee relations matters. Provide timely and accurate service to AGAT employees advising on policies, benefits, RRSP and other employee programs. Liaise with payroll and support operations in disability management, return to work, and accommodation process. Ensure issues are dealt with in a manner consistent with company core values. Perform HR administrative tasks as required. Key Attributes of the Ideal Candidate: Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related experience. Previous work experience in Human Resources. Bilingual in French and English is an asset. Proven ability to develop trusting relationships with employees and management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Microsoft Excel skills required. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage in a fast-paced environment. Be able to work in both independently and in a team environment.
