Job summary

Job Description Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas, which may involve working with and assisting engineers. Duties may be related to the selection, installation, maintenance, repair and support of manufacturing equipment; technical support of one or more production/fabrication processes, product testing and troubleshooting; and/or technical analyses and problem-solving. Carries out and/or assists in the development, improvement and optimization of standards, processes and procedures in the manufacturing environment, which may include cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance. May assist in qualifying sources of raw materials, chemicals and other ingredients used in the manufacturing process. May use layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals and rough sketches or drawings to set up, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and perform maintenance and repairs. Works with engineers to develop, execute and track the testing and problem resolution of new and existing components, parts, products or processes/systems. Compiles and maintains applicable documentation. May design and/or build tools. Qualifications Certification in instrumentation Associates degree or technical training, or combination of experience. 1+ years of relevant experience for entry to this level. Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $24.43 - $42.74/hr CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
