Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Civil Engineer in the Engineering consulting industry in Mississauga, Ontario. The Civil Engineer will help shape some of the most ambitious mining, energy, and infrastructure projects in the industry — working out of our Mississauga office on a portfolio of ongoing, high-impact assignments. In this role, you'll lead general civil engineering and design activities spanning site preparation, grading, drainage, roads, and paving for major mining and heavy industrial projects. A Typical Day Lead the civil project team through to completion on assigned projects, covering bulk earthworks, site drainage, and mine and plant roads design Own QA/QC of design calculations and contract documents Take on discipline practice responsibility for your assigned project scope Collaborate closely with project managers and multidisciplinary design teams to keep projects moving and integrated Drive quality control through rigorous drawing and calculation checking and verification Successful Candidates Will Have 6+ years of civil engineering experience in mining, energy, or infrastructure projects Proven leadership and project management experience on mid-to-large-scale projects Civil Engineering degree with P.Eng. designation, eligibility for licensure, or registration currently in progress. Strong background in earthworks, site grading, drainage, stormwater management, roads, and sanitary sewer design Experience with hydrology/hydraulics and civil design software applications Expertise in bulk earthworks, access/haul roads, earth structures, and large-scale site development projects Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results in fast-paced environments Demonstrated success mentoring junior engineers and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders This posting is for an active opening. Requirements

Candidates need at least six years of civil engineering experience in mining, energy, or infrastructure, along with leadership and project management experience on mid-to-large-scale projects. A civil engineering degree and P.Eng. designation, eligibility, or licensure in progress are required, as is experience with earthworks, grading, drainage, stormwater, roads, sanitary sewers, and hydrology or hydraulics.
