The Vancouver office is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. Projects executed in various sectors and consist of large EPCM and small operations support projects. Total Rewards $96000.00 - $145000.00 annually Build a Rewarding Long-Term Career Work with one of Canada's Top 3 Engineering Firms Pension Bonus Program A Typical Day Lead and mentor a team of Electrical Engineers, Designers, and CAD personnel in the execution of mining and mineral processing projects. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and development support to engineers-in-training and junior design staff. Prepare and review engineering calculations, designs, and technical deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy. Develop electrical equipment specification packages, detailed design documents, and construction/installation specifications. Review vendor drawings and technical data to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards. Support project development through conceptual designs, engineering studies, reports, and proposals. Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, clients, and stakeholders while tracking project performance metrics. Report project and functional issues to engineering leadership and conduct site visits as required to support project execution. Successful Candidates Will Have 5+ years of electrical engineering experience within an EPC/EPCM environment, supporting mining, metals, and mineral processing projects. Engineering degree and Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration with PEO or another Canadian engineering association. Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders. Strong knowledge of industry regulations, electrical codes, standards, and engineering best practices. Proficiency with leading electrical engineering software, including SPEL, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, and ASPEN. Experience delivering electrical engineering designs and technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle for industrial facilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with clients, vendors, and project teams. Advanced computer skills and a strong ability to manage priorities, solve complex technical challenges, and support successful project execution. This posting is for an active opening. Interested?
