Job summary
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Injection Operator in the plastics industry in Burlington, Ontario. Operate and monitor injection molding machines to ensure continued manufacturing to meet production schedules, safety standards, and quality specifications. This role supports consistent production by performing routine maintenance checks and promptly addressing minor mechanical issues to ensure minimal machine downtime. Total Rewards $33.00 - $35.00 hourly Eligible for Pension Plan Health Benefits 12 hour continental shifts (days/nights) A Typical Day Ensure machines run according to production schedule and standards Respond promptly to machine alarms Maintain material supplies to machines Troubleshoot injection and accessory equipment, involving the Process and Maintenance teams as necessary Conduct timely preventative maintenance for injection machines, molds, and accessorial equipment Package and label finished products Document materials used during changeovers Ensure all quality, food safety, safety, environmental as well as all other Company policies and procedures are followed Successful Candidates Will Have High School Diploma 1-2 years manufacturing experience Working knowledge of injection molding Experience running multiple machines simultaneously Mechanical aptitude to understand the nuances of safe and efficient injection mold machine operation Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills with coworkers, supervisors, and management Ability to troubleshoot injection machines and make competent process changes *Smoke Free environment* This posting is for an active opening.
