Your Next Challenge Reporting to the Supervisor and Maintenance, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will perform proper maintenance practices in terms of preventive, corrective, and modification of maintenance in an open-pit environment. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment. Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance in addition to minor and major mechanical repairs to all mobile mining equipment indoors as well as outdoors; Evaluate work to be performed and apply correct procedure(s), rules, and regulations, before executing tasks; Complete and close the work orders; Analyze the appropriate maintenance to apply according to the emergency; Achieve key performance indicators; Maintain a clean and safe work environment; Report all accidents to the Supervisor; Perform any other duties required by the Supervisor. What You Need To Succeed College diploma in Mechanical Technology, Heavy Equipment Mechanic or equivalent; 5+ years of experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic, combined with training experience; Red Seal certification is considered an asset; Mining experience is an asset; Experience and certification on Long-Haul truck type models; Understanding of A/C, hydraulic, and electrical system 12/24 volts troubleshooting; Knowledge of diagnostic software tools preferred; Must possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, with an ability to motivate and work in a team environment; Possess an adequate physical condition; Experience working in a multicultural environment. Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English. Your Work Schedule Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest; Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
