Job Description Competitive salary + annual bonus Permanent full-time position Schedule: to be discussed (must be available 1 weekend out of 2) Work location: 4383 Rue Châteauguay, Jonquière, QC G8A 0A3 As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will work under the supervision of the Branch Manager. You will be responsible for managing a team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that exceptional customer service is provided, all while making sure that the company’s objectives are met. You will be responsible for, among other things: Being actively present on the field to supervise and participate in operations in an environment that can be outdoors, physical, and dirty; Promoting a welcoming and safe workplace; Enforcing environmental and Health & Safety rules and procedures; Assisting the Branch Manager during monthly Health & Safety audits; Supervising daily operations such as scheduling and achieving sales and production targets; Supporting employees by participating in daily tasks and operational initiatives on the ground; Assisting the Branch Manager with internal communications to employees; Working in collaboration with various partners to monitor and implement business processes; Conducting quarterly performance evaluations of hourly employees jointly with the Branch Manager; Performing a variety of administrative tasks (cash deposits, payroll, schedules, etc.); Supporting the Branch Manager in the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new employees; Acting as an ambassador in any organizational change and playing an active role in its deployment within your branch. Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years of experience in customer service; Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a management role; College or university degree; Experience in retail or the automotive sector is an asset; Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
