Job Summary: GDI Ainsworth is currently hiring for Journeyman Plumber(s) with commercial experience to join our growing Edmonton team for project, installation and commercial mechanical work. Key Responsibilities: * Able to work with minimal supervision. * Must have a great ability to carry out lots of service work in a professional and respectful manner. * Read blueprints, determine layouts of plumbing fixtures, water supplies, vent and drainage systems, repair and maintain domestic hot and cold-water systems, install commercial & residential plumbing fixtures. * Installation of various types of mechanical equipment and associated piping. * Install NG (natural gas) distribution piping and size as per code. * Safe work practices, provide a high level of customer service. Qualifications: * Red Seal Journeyman Certified. * Gas B license an asset * Commercial experience is required * Understanding of Mechanical Installation and local codes. * Valid Alberta Drivers License. * Excellent Math and problem solving skills. * Ability to work alone and in a team environment. * Must be able to lift heavy materials, tools and equipment when required.
