Airswift is seeking a Senior Histology Technician to join an innovative preclinical research organization focused on advancing neuroscience and drug discovery. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative laboratory environment while taking ownership of end-to-end histology workflows and contributing to impactful scientific research. Key Responsibilities: Perform tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and cryotomy Conduct H&E, special stains, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) Ensure high-quality tissue preparation, staining, and quality control Operate and maintain histology equipment, including microtomes, stainers, and slide scanners Support digital pathology and image analysis workflows Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to SOPs Requirements: DEC in Biomedical Laboratory Technology or a related field 3+ years of hands-on histology experience Strong expertise in paraffin embedding (FFPE), microtomy, and H&E staining Experience with IHC and/or IF is preferred Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-throughput laboratory environment Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills Bilingual (French and English) is an asset If you're looking for an opportunity to expand your expertise in advanced histology techniques while contributing to cutting-edge preclinical research, we'd love to hear from you.
