About Us Airtec Energy Systems is a Metro Vancouver–based HVAC contractor specializing in VRF and commercial building HVAC service. We work with property managers, building owners, and developers who want reliable, proactive maintenance. We’re growing our service department and looking for a Sales Representative professional focused 100% on winning new HVAC Mechanical service & maintenance contracts + retrofits/replacements. The Role This role is simple to explain, hard to do well: You hunt. You close. You hand off to operations. Then you go find the next one. You will be provided with current book of prospective clients; with the tools You’ll build your own pipeline from scratch with support from our Service Manager and technical team. What You’ll Be Doing Identify and research target buildings, portfolios, and property managers in Metro Vancouver Cold call, email, walk buildings, and use LinkedIn to book meetings with decision-makers Meet on-site with property managers and owners to understand their HVAC challenges Work with our team to put together clear, professional preventative maintenance & retrofit/replacement proposals Present proposals, handle objections, and drive opportunities to signed service contracts Hand off new contracts to the Service Manager/operations team for onboarding and delivery Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline and basic reporting on activity, proposals, and closes Providing presentations to clients (lunch and learns) Maintaining the company’s social media presence on LinkedIn related to your role. What We’re Looking For Must-haves 2+ years in sales, ideally in services (construction, trades, building services, facilities, etc.) Proven track record in new business development (not just account management) Knowledge in Mechanical and HVAC systems (Required) Comfortable with cold outreach and in-person prospecting Strong communication skills with professional clients (property managers, owners, asset managers) Highly self-driven, organized, and able to manage your own schedule and pipeline Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel across Metro Vancouver Nice-to-haves Experience selling HVAC, mechanical, or building maintenance services Existing relationships with property management firms or building owners Basic understanding of HVAC/VRF (we’ll provide technical training and support) What We Offer Competitive base salary 55-75k + commission (uncapped) Vehicle allowance Company cell phone + Computer Health Benefits and RRSP Matching up to 5% Company Swag Strong technical and operations team to back up what you sell Chance to grow with a respected, specialized HVAC contractor in Metro Vancouver Autonomy, clear expectations, and a direct line of sight between your effort and your earnings.
