Position: Business Process Delivery – Documentum Migration Architect Duration: Contract Opportunity Location: Oshawa, Ontario Engagement Model: Hybrid (2 Days Onsite per Week) About the Engagement We are seeking an experienced Documentum Migration Architect to support a large-scale document management transformation initiative. This role will focus on analyzing, planning, and migrating enterprise content from OpenText Documentum into a modern Document Management System while ensuring data integrity, compliance, governance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to design migration strategies, optimize document workflows, and support successful implementation activities. What Will the Successful Candidate Do? The Documentum Migration Architect's primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Analyze existing content, metadata, and document repositories within OpenText Documentum. Develop migration strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans for transitioning content to a new Document Management System. Lead document and data migration activities, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with governance standards. Design and enhance document control processes to improve project coordination and accessibility. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define migration requirements and solutions. Provide expert guidance on document management, metadata management, and content governance best practices. Support audit, compliance, and operational documentation requirements. Identify opportunities to improve information management processes and data quality. Lead technical discussions and contribute to key project decisions across multiple teams. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to document and data management. What the Successful Candidate Needs to Succeed Must-Have Skills OpenText Documentum (Primary) OpenText Content Server Data Analysis Enterprise Content Migration Metadata Management Document Management Systems (DMS) Required Experience Proven experience in OpenText Documentum architecture and migration projects. Experience leading enterprise content and document migration initiatives. Strong background in document management and information governance. Experience working with metadata analysis, classification, and repository optimization. Required Qualifications Extensive hands-on experience with OpenText Documentum. Strong understanding of OpenText Content Server. Proven expertise designing and executing large-scale content migration strategies. Experience supporting document governance, compliance, and audit requirements. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and provide strategic direction. Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Additional Requirements Ability to work in a hybrid environment with onsite presence in Oshawa. Strong consulting and client-facing experience preferred. Experience working in complex enterprise environments. Eligibility to obtain Reliability Security Clearance is required.
