Position: Institutional Sales & Service Associate Duration: 1 Year Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days per week in office Pay Rate: $30 - $35 About Our Client: Our client is a leading organization in the financial services and investment management industry, supporting institutional clients and strategic relationships across Canada. Their Institutional Sales & Service team plays a key role in delivering high-quality client service, supporting asset retention, and strengthening long-term client relationships. About this opportunity: On behalf of our client, we’re looking for an experienced Institutional Sales & Service Associate to support institutional clients throughout the full client lifecycle. You’ll work closely with Sales and Relationship Managers and collaborate with internal teams to deliver responsive client service, coordinate RFPs and DDQs, manage client deliverables, and support operational and compliance activities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. What You’ll Do: • Deliver consistent, high-quality service to institutional clients and respond promptly to client inquiries and service requests. • Resolve client issues by partnering with internal teams and coordinating account-related requests. • Build and maintain strong, ongoing client relationships while supporting asset retention through effective servicing. • Manage client deliverables, presentation materials, timelines, and deadlines. • Coordinate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), ensuring responses are accurate and submitted on time. • Partner with Sales and Relationship Managers to support client needs and broader business objectives. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. • Support compliance reviews and regulatory requirements. • Contribute to special projects and other initiatives as required. • Manage multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality service and timely completion of deliverables. What You Bring: • University degree or equivalent relevant experience within the financial services industry. • 5+ years of experience within a fund manager, bank, securities, or related financial services environment. • Prior knowledge of investment management processes from a servicing or operational perspective is preferred. • Strong client service orientation with a sales and marketing mindset and the ability to identify client needs and position appropriate solutions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet internal and external deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information. • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Nice to Have: • Fluency in French. • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certification. • Experience working directly with institutional clients, Sales teams, or Relationship Managers. • Experience coordinating RFPs, DDQs, client presentations, and other institutional client deliverables. • Experience with CRM platforms and client relationship management processes.
