Please find the position details as follows: Job Title: Sr. Tech Acquisition Consultant Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid) Duration: 06+ months with potential extension We’re looking for an experienced IT professional to support technology sourcing, IT vendor management, and RFx development. Key Responsibilities: Gather IT requirements across infrastructure, software, security, and IT services. Develop RFx/RFSQ documents, technical requirements, evaluation criteria, and scoring matrices. Collaborate with IT leadership, architects, security teams, and Supply Chain Management. Support sourcing strategy development and procurement process improvements. Requirements: 10+ years of IT experience with strong IT procurement and technology sourcing expertise. Experience as a Senior IT Business Analyst, IT Sourcing Consultant, or similar. Strong requirements gathering, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Public-sector procurement experience and familiarity with Canadian trade agreements are assets. Note: This is an IT-focused role, not a general procurement or transactional buying position.

Requirements

Strong requirements gathering, project coordination, and stakeholder management skills are required, while public-sector procurement experience and familiarity with Canadian trade agreements are assets.
