About

The Alberta Centre to End Trafficking in Persons (the Alberta Centre) was established by the community in partnership with the Government of Alberta after extensive consultation with stakeholders across sectors to address the growing issue of human trafficking in the province. The Alberta Centre leads a comprehensive and coordinated effort to disrupt trafficking networks, prevent exploitation, intervene to support survivors, and foster their recovery. In the coming months and years, the Alberta Centre will focus on expanding public awareness, strengthening community response systems, and driving policy reform. By collaborating with law enforcement, government, and community organizations, the Alberta Centre is committed to ensuring the safety, dignity, and well-being of individuals vulnerable to trafficking, ultimately creating a future free from human trafficking and its devastating effects.
