Associate Physician - Surgical - Orthopedics

Your Opportunity: AHS is looking for an Associate Physician with surgical experience to support the Orthopedics Department at the Red Deer Regional Health Centre. This is an alternate physician provider role in which the successful candidate will work with a limited medical license issued from the College of Physician and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). The incumbent will work within the Hospitalist group under the direction of an attending physician and within a multidisciplinary team setting to deliver acute patient care. The Associate Physician will support the Orthopedics Department at Red Deer Regional Health Centre by delivering acute patient care. They will work within a multidisciplinary team under the direction of an attending physician.

Applicants must be International Medical Graduates who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents with a recognized orthopedic or general surgery residency. Requirements include passing the MCCQE1 and meeting specific IELTS English proficiency scores.
