Description: As an Environmental Services staff, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks associated with cleaning and disinfecting clinical and non-clinical healthcare environments within a hospital or facility. Your typical duties may include sweeping, mopping and vacuuming; restocking supplies in bathroom facilities; stripping linen and making beds; operating industrial cleaning equipment for floor maintenance and restoration; thorough washing of ceilings and windows; emptying hazardous waste; and replenishing cleaning supplies and linens. You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting potential hazards to your Working Leader and you may also provide training or orientation to Environmental or Laundry staff. Knowledge and operation of computers and smartphones. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and perform repetitive movements for the duration of your shift. Requirements

Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent is required, along with knowledge of computers and smartphones. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
