Description: As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist I, you will produce and record magnetic resonance images for interpretation by a Radiologist or Cardiologist for the purpose of diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. You will produce high quality diagnostic MRI images as ordered by a Physician, prepare and position patients for examination, review patient history, explain procedures, respond to the physical and psychological needs of patients throughout the scanning procedure, and maintain MRI equipment. Classification: MRI Technologist I Union: HSAA Facility PROF/TECH Unit and Program: Diagnostic Imaging Primary Location: Chinook Regional Hospital Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 0.50 Posting End Date: 22-SEP-2026 Employee Class: Regular Part Time Date Available: 02-OCT-2026 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 2 Shifts per cycle: 5 Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, On Call Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $42.34 Maximum Salary: $54.43 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable Required Qualifications: Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program required or completion of certificate from an accredited MRI Technologist program plus a diploma from an accredited Program in Medical Radiology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound), Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy. Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications: IV/CVAD Authorization. Preferred Qualifications: As Required.

Requirements
