Description: As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist I, you will produce and record magnetic resonance images for interpretation by a Radiologist or Cardiologist for the purpose of diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. You will produce high quality diagnostic MRI images as ordered by a Physician, prepare and position patients for examination, review patient history, explain procedures, respond to the physical and psychological needs of patients throughout the scanning procedure, and maintain MRI equipment. Active or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications: IV/CVAD Authorization. Preferred Qualifications: As Required.

Produce and record high-quality magnetic resonance images for interpretation by Radiologists or Cardiologists to diagnose and track diseases. Responsibilities include preparing patients, explaining procedures, and maintaining MRI equipment.

Requires a diploma from an accredited MRI program or a related medical radiology diploma with an MRI certificate. Candidates must be registered with the CAMRT and hold a current BCLS-HCP certification and IV/CVAD authorization.
