Description: As a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) II, you will perform specialized technical radiological imaging examinations on patients for the purpose of disease and pathology diagnosis. You may perform specialized diagnostic imaging procedures for Physician/Radiologist review, interpret physician requisitions and assist with the care and maintenance of imaging equipment. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications: Computed Tomography Imaging Certificate (CTIC) either completed or in progress. Flexibility to work all shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and after-hours on-call. Physical capability to perform job duties, including pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting or transferring patients and supplies over 50 lbs. Ability to wear lead aprons for extended periods (up to 6.75 hours per shift). Preferred Qualifications: Working experience in Computed Tomography and Interventional Radiology in a Trauma and Pediatric Center is preferred.

Requirements

Requires a diploma from an accredited MRT program, BCLS-HCP certification, and registration with ACMDTT. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting over 50 lbs and flexible to work all shifts including on-call.
