Your Opportunity: Registered Nurse – Enterostomal Therapy Clinic. The Enterostomal Therapy Clinic Nurses at the Rockyview General Hospital provide specialized clinical expertise in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for individuals/families with wounds, ostomies and continence disorders. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive consultation, education and clinical care to referred inpatients, outpatients and their families, ensuring high-quality, patient centred service across care settings. Description: As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and well-being. In your role, you will utilize nursing processes, through critical thinking, problem solving and decision making, as well as teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and their families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion and maintenance. You will provide safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values. PLEASE NOTE: Provisional Permit holders will be paid $40.76 to $55.79 per hour. Upon obtaining a full practice permit, the rate of pay will be adjusted to the applicable Registered Nurse rate in accordance with UNA Article 25.02(b)(i) or (ii), as applicable. Classification: Registered Nurse Union: United Nurses of Alberta Unit and Program: Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Primary Location: Rockyview General Hospital Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: At (UNA only) FTE: 0.50 Posting End Date: 21-SEP-2026 Employee Class: Regular Part Time Date Available: 26-OCT-2026 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 4 Shifts per cycle: 10 Shift Pattern: Days Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $44.56 Maximum Salary: $60.98 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification. Additional Required Qualifications: Completion of or current enrollment in approved ET; Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Education Program (NSWOC) or Skin Wellness Associate Nurse (SWAN) Program; 5 years of recent (within 3 years) Inpatient Surgical experience. 3-5 years current clinical experience related to ostomy and wound care. Demonstrated strong organizational capabilities and clear, professional communication skills in both oral and written format. Ability to complete accurate phone assessments, interventions and appropriate follow up and referrals. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in patient and family education. Knowledge of Connect Care.
