Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. (Al-Pac) is seeking a Technician, Stores to work out of our Mill Site location. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all the materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for Al-Pac operations, maintenance, reliability and administration are available when and where they are required. The job is also responsible to handle a wide variety of items such as heavy machinery, spare parts, safety equipment, tools, stationery and protective clothing, etc while operating in a safe and effective manner.. Role Responsibilities Loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight which includes materials, machinery and chemicals. Drive and operate light vehicle(s) and forklift. Monitor stocking levels & shelf-life inventory. Put away parts into storage locations. Process requisitions, issue, pick, package & move material; distribute parts for customer delivery. Perform cycle counts and complete accurate adjustments within the ERP system. Review and recommend adjustments, accurate and timely data entry into the ERP system. Prepare and generate warehouse reports and record keeping. Delivery of equipment and materials to other business areas. Verify & inspect incoming material & documentation, process receipts and track shipments. Prepare domestic, US & international outgoing freight packaging specifications; complete documentation and labelling, comply with customs & export requirements and prepare Customs Declarations. Master data governance for material master input and change. Maintain and clean & organized work area. Safety in all activities. Role Requirements High school Diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience performing similar activities within a logistic environment. A Journeyman Parts Ticket or Warehousing Technician Certificate and Transportation of Dangerous Goods certificate an asset. A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required. Experience operating a forklift is required. Other Ability to problem solve and deliver customer centric solutions. Ability to establish to maintain strong relationships internally and externally. Implements continuous improvement opportunities to drive value for SCM. Ensures all business needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access). Knowledge and understanding of provincial, national and international supply chains: including, but not limited to carriers such as railways, trucking, and shipping. The technician is responsible for managing the availability of materials, equipment, and supplies by handling inbound and outbound freight and operating forklifts. They must also maintain accurate inventory levels within the ERP system, perform cycle counts, and manage warehouse documentation and reporting.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and 3-5 years of relevant experience in a logistics environment. A valid Class 5 driver's license and forklift operation experience are required, while specialized certifications like a Journeyman Parts Ticket or TDG are considered assets.
