Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design Advanced Problems — Craft challenging biochemistry scenarios spanning nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, enzyme kinetics, and drug-target interactions to stress-test AI reasoning Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Develop precise, step-by-step solutions and benchmark responses that AI systems use to calibrate high-level scientific reasoning Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and mathematical derivations for technical accuracy and scientific rigor Identify Reasoning Failures — Pinpoint logical errors such as incorrect stoichiometry, stereochemical mistakes, or flawed mechanistic reasoning, and provide structured feedback to improve model performance Work Independently — Manage your own schedule and contribute asynchronously at whatever pace suits you Who You Are Hold a PhD (completed or in final stages) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related discipline Possess strong foundational expertise in areas such as structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, or bioinformatics Able to communicate complex biochemical and chemical concepts clearly and precisely in written form Detail-oriented with a high standard of accuracy when reviewing chemical equations, molecular diagrams, and experimental protocols Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on technical tasks No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, evaluation, or quality assurance workflows Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST Background in science writing, peer review, or technical editing Why Join Us Work on intellectually stimulating problems at the frontier of AI and life sciences Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, from anywhere Collaborate with a global network of scientific experts and AI researchers Gain firsthand exposure to how advanced large language models are trained and evaluated Freelance autonomy with the potential for ongoing, long-term contract work
