Biology Masters – AI Data Trainer About The Role We're looking for biology professionals to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your advanced biology knowledge directly shapes how the next generation of AI understands life sciences. No AI background required — your expertise is what matters. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design challenging biology questions that rigorously test AI reasoning and scientific accuracy Develop clear, step-by-step model solutions grounded in sound scientific logic Evaluate AI-generated responses for correctness, depth, and quality of reasoning Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Masters-level biology Provide structured, actionable feedback that directly improves AI performance Who You Are Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field Strong command of advanced biology concepts with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Able to communicate complex scientific ideas clearly and precisely in writing Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment No prior AI experience required — we'll get you up to speed Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems Familiarity with scientific writing or academic benchmarking Background spanning multiple biology subfields (e.g., molecular biology, genetics, physiology, ecology) Why Join Us Work directly with industry-leading AI research teams on genuinely impactful projects Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, from anywhere Contractor advantages: high autonomy, variety of projects, and global collaboration Contribute to meaningful work that advances how AI understands science Potential for ongoing contract renewals and expanded project opportunities
