Biology Masters – AI Data Trainer About The Role We're looking for Masters-level biology professionals to help train and improve cutting-edge AI models. Your deep knowledge of biology, biochemistry, or biotechnology will directly shape how the next generation of AI systems reasons through complex scientific problems. No AI background required — your subject matter expertise is what matters. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design challenging, graduate-level biology questions to rigorously test AI reasoning and knowledge Develop clear, step-by-step model solutions with scientifically sound logic Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning Identify gaps or errors in AI outputs across domains such as molecular biology, genetics, physiology, and biochemistry Collaborate with researchers to develop and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Masters-level topics Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule Who You Are Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field Strong scientific reasoning and advanced problem-solving skills across biology disciplines Able to communicate complex concepts clearly and provide structured, actionable feedback in writing Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable No prior AI or data annotation experience required Nice to Have Experience in data annotation, quality evaluation, or scientific writing Familiarity with AI tools or language model interfaces Background in research, lab work, or academic publishing Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside world-leading research labs Fully remote and flexible — set your own hours and work from anywhere Freelance perks: high autonomy, variety of tasks, and international collaboration Make a meaningful contribution to how AI understands and communicates science Potential for ongoing work and contract renewals
