Your expertise in DLP controls, data classification, and security operations will directly shape how AI systems reason about sensitive information, exposure risk, and data protection. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze realistic data security and DLP scenarios across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments Classify data sensitivity levels, exposure paths, and policy violations with precision Evaluate prevention, detection, and incident response strategies for real-world applicability Generate, label, and validate data security cases used to train and benchmark AI systems Help AI models develop accurate, nuanced understanding of how sensitive information risk plays out in modern organizations Who You Are 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, security operations, or a related field Solid familiarity with DLP tools, data classification frameworks, and privacy or regulatory concepts (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) Practical, hands-on understanding of how data risk manifests in real enterprise environments Strong analytical thinking and ability to communicate complex scenarios in structured, clear formats Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments Nice to Have Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or SaaS security controls Background in security engineering, GRC, or insider threat programs Familiarity with AI workflows or data annotation projects Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems built with top research labs Fully remote and flexible — set your own hours and work at your own pace Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Put your real-world security expertise to work on problems that matter Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
